Staff Predictions Idaho 10-24-17: Louisiana-Monroe

October 23, 2017

Mihaela Karst, Idaho- 27, Louisiana-Monroe- 21

Despite a tough losing streak, I think the puzzle pieces are going to click against the Warhawks and the Vandals will come away with a win.

Meredith Spelbring, Idaho- 34, Louisiana-Monroe- 28

It is near impossible to guess with this team, but Idaho is desperate at this point in the season. Each week there are clear signs of progression and this week the Vandals will able to pull it all together to squeak out a win.

Grayson Hughbanks, Idaho- 27, Louisiana-Monroe- 14

The Vandals are hot on the trail to bring the current losing streak to an end. Idaho will bring its A-game against Louisiana-Monroe and find a way to get the win.

Colton Clark, Idaho- 27, Louisiana-Monroe- 21

The Sun Belt is becoming even more impossible to predict, but UL-Monroe is coming off a loss to South Alabama in which it gave up nearly 550 yards. Idaho allowed less against the same team. The Vandals get the slight edge this week.

Zack Ozuna, Idaho- 32, Louisiana-Monroe- 24

Idaho football hasn’t been able to claim a win in its last three matchups, but this week will be a turning point. The Vandals have been competitive in the majority of their games but just weren’t able to deliver the final blow. Idaho will seal the deal this week against Louisiana-Monroe.

Chris Deremer, Idaho- 21, Louisiana-Monroe- 17

This is a must-win game for the Vandals, so expect a motivated Idaho team to pull out with a win.

Jonah Baker, Idaho- 31, Louisiana-Monroe- 21

Another game against a porous defense should allow the Vandal passing game to carry the team in a must-win contest.

Marisa Lloyd, Idaho- 17, Louisiana-Monroe- 14

Idaho will win but I think it will be a battle for the last few points and definitely a close game.
